Pay it forward

My 5-year-old son, while at the store with his aunt, fell in love with a toy he saw in the supermarket. Unfortunately, the last toy was taken and she promised my son that Santa would bring it for him. Unexpectedly, the lady who checked out before them turned around, said, “Merry Christmas,” and handed my son the toy. This kind stranger’s actions have inspired us to “pay it forward” and it reminded us about the joy in giving.
