Kuhn named FUHSD Employee of Month

Paula Kuhn was named Fallbrook Union High School District (FUHSD) Employee of the Month by FUHSD Superintendent Tom Anthony at a recent Rotary Club of Fallbrook luncheon.

Kuhn joined the district in 1998 as an instructional aide, following five years of classroom experience with emotionally disabled students at Potter Junior High School and Zion Lutheran School. She became part of FUHSD’s certified staff in August 2002 as a special education teacher.

Kuhn has worked extensively with programs such as Make-a-Wish and creating Star for Kids, affiliated with the American League Baseball Association, which fulfills the wishes of cancer patients who wish to meet baseball players.

During the awards presentation, Anthony said, “Paula has been an outstanding role model for her students. She continues to go beyond the call of duty with her students and only accepts the best from them. Paula’s listening skills, compassion and good sense of humor have helped her to become one of Fallbrook’s finest.”
