Outstanding students enjoy martial arts as well

Students from Live Oak Elementary School recently celebrated their academic and citizenship awards from the first trimester. These same students are also members of the ATA leadership program at Fallbrook Martial Arts-ATA Black Belt Academy. The students have demonstrated the importance of building their character not only as academic students but through the dedication they put forth in their martial arts training. This is the core aspect of what martial arts is all about – emphasizing the aspects of life skills such as respect, courtesy, discipline, perseverance, integrity, self-control and confidence.

These students and their families have found that the influence of their dedication and commitment in martial arts can be seen at home and school as well as in the community. The results of these students’ efforts are recognized as a testament to their desire to improve their lives mentally and physically.
