Fallbrook Chorale sings their way through the holidays

With a full measure of sopranos and altos – and a pinch of tenor and bass – the Fallbrook Chorale stirred up the holiday spirit at four separate functions Sunday, December 17, then started the final Christmas week off with a stop at the Grand Tradition in order to provide entertainment during the Rotary Club of Fallbrook’s Christmas luncheon.

The spirited repertoire included a little gospel, a little jazz and a whole lot of familiar tunes, including “White Christmas,” “Joy to the World,” “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus” and, of course, “Silent Night.” Many audience members joined in the spirit of the season with their own version of “Sing Along with Mitch.” Even Rotarian Claus Sellier was seen singing along with the Chorale to “Silent Night” – in German. The Chorale filed out of the manor singing “We Wish You a Merry Christmas” to continuous applause.

Next, on Tuesday, December 12, the Chorale presented songs of the season for the Fallbrook Woman’s Club at their annual Christmas luncheon. The Chorale has been the recipient of the club’s philanthropic generosity since its inception. Their annual performance for the club is a heart-felt musical thank you. They sang old familiar Christmas carols and invited members to sing along.
