New members welcome at MOPS meetings

Last updated 1/4/2007 at Noon

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) resumes meeting at Riverview Church, following the brief break for the holidays, on January 11 and 25 from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. MOPS is an international nonprofit organization with over 2,500 chapters in the United States alone. Meetings give moms the opportunity to share concerns, explore areas of creativity and hear instruction from mentors and speakers. The MOPS program includes MOPPETS (for children to 6 years of age), in which children are grouped by age in classrooms where they enjoy stories, crafts, play and a snack. MOPPETS teachers are experienced, qualified adults.

The Riverview chapter includes women from Fallbrook, Bonsall, Oceanside, Vista and neighboring areas.

All mothers of preschool-aged children are welcome. For more information or to register, please contact Riverview Evangelical Free Church at (760) 941-1430.
