Watercolor class offered

Instructor Pam Benson will soon lead watercolor students in an exploration of beginning and intermediate techniques. She will teach value and color theory, basic sketching and composition. Techniques of various artists will be explored to create original paintings. New students will need to bring their own supplies.

The class meets Mondays from 1 to 4 p.m. January 22 to February 12. More four-week watercolor sessions are scheduled to start February 26, March 16 and April 23. Classes will be held at the Fallbrook Community Center.

There is a fee for each four-week session. Pre-registration is required and can be paid over the phone by credit card by calling the Community Center at (760) 728-1671. Or, those interested may stop by the office, 341 Heald Lane, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
