Local Boy Scout achieves rank of Eagle

Alex Young, a resident of Fallbrook since he was 1, makes it to the highest rank in Boy Scouting – Eagle – in a December ceremony at Mataguay Scout Reservation. Young joined the Cub Scouts at St. Peter’s in second grade, moving up to Boy Scout Troop 731 in 1999. Young thanked his father, Robert, and his leaders and fellow members of Troop 731. He is a 2006 graduate of Fallbrook High School and a current student at Cal Poly Pomona.
