Mothers of preschoolers welcome at MOPS meetings

“Because Mothering Matters,” MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) meets at Riverview Church from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month. MOPS is an international nonprofit organization with over 2,500 chapters in the United States alone.

Meetings give moms the opportunity to share concerns, explore areas of creativity and hear instruction from mentors and speakers. The MOPS program includes MOPPETS (for children to 6 years of age), in which children are grouped by age in classrooms where they enjoy stories, crafts, play and a snack. MOPPETS teachers are experienced, qualified adults.

The Riverview chapter of MOPS includes women from Fallbrook, Bonsall, Oceanside, Vista and neighboring areas. All mothers of preschool children are welcome. For more information or to register, contact Riverview Evangelical Free Church at (760) 941-1430. Check them out at http://www.mops.org.
