Dreammaker Kitchen and Bath: designing with your family in mind

Enjoying your home and making it into a place your family and friends love to gather makes for good feelings and wonderful memories.

Jennifer Jones and Robert Edgecomb, the owners of Dreammaker Bath and Kitchen in Fallbrook, make it their business to help homeowners’ dreams and visions for their home come true. With a variety of materials, textures, colors and design techniques at their fingertips, these well-educated professionals specialize in remodeling kitchens and bath and work one-on-one with their clients to give their home a new, inviting look.

“Each project we work on is unique,” Jones said. “At Dreammaker, we handle it all – from the design to demolition of the old areas to the new construction, installations, paint, flooring and more.” Keeping all phases of the work under one umbrella allows for quality project management.

“We live up to a higher standard and people appreciate that,” Jones said. “We have a code of values we live by. We don’t just say we care; we show we care.” Not only are the customers appreciated and treated with the utmost respect, the value the company provides is significant as well.

“The Dreammaker system is far superior to others,” said Edgecomb, a fourth generation builder with 25 years of design/building experience. “It’s all about organization and running on a timeline. In addition, we can save people money because with 120 locations in the United States, Dreammaker has buying power like Home Depot and Lowe’s.”

Whether the customer is interested in a modern style, country, timeless elegance or bringing a European flair to their environment, the answer can be found at Dreammaker.

“We also enjoy bringing an aspect of the family’s heritage into the project,” Jones said. “Sometimes people have a fond memory from family homes of long ago that they wish to incorporate into the new design.” In addition to having attended the Art Institute of Philadelphia, Jones has traveled extensively throughout Europe and has a wealth of ideas she brings to each project.

To give the customer some visual examples, Dreammaker’s Home Design Center and showroom at 433 South Main Avenue (corner of Main Avenue and Beech Street, lower level) has a bevy of choices on display. One step inside the showroom and you are bound to be amazed at the variety of full scale kitchen designs on display.

In reviewing the bevy of “before” and “after” pictures of projects Dreammaker has in their showroom, it could be believed that this company has the power to wave a magic wand in an old, outdated room and instantly create an open, clean feel. Perhaps that is why they have been featured in both Better Homes and Gardens and Kiplinger’s publications.

What do they say is the latest trend in their specialized industry?

“Many of today’s busy families want a new-style kitchen; one where two people can be cooking, the family can socialize while preparing a meal and provide some room to work on homework or crafts,” Jones said. But to create the perfect kitchen, she says the family’s needs have to be understood first.

“The design aspect is where we really shine; basically, we want to help people have a better quality of life in their home,” she smiled. “Because of the relationship we establish with our clients, they become personal friends and that makes me feel good.”

The showroom’s official grand opening will be held on Friday, January 19, and Saturday, January 20, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Refreshments will be served and visitors will have a chance to win a set of Le Creuset pans worth $800!
