St. Peter's students receive Diocese leadership awards

FALLBROOK — Each year two separate awards are announced from the Diocese of San Diego and given to two eighth-graders from each of the Catholic schools in the Diocese. Lisa Walker and Emma Bednarski were honored as the recipients of the Adrienne Ward Award for Outstanding Leadership at school and in their community. They joined fellow recipients at an awards luncheon held at the Cathedral Catholic High School. Twins Andrew and Emily Donnelly were chosen as the recipients of the Verbum Dei Award, given at a luncheon held at Marian Catholic High School. This award recognizes Christ-like leadership as well as positive role models and compassion for others.
