Newcomers enjoy tour of Fallbrook

FALLBROOK — Members of the Fallbrook Newcomers Club enjoyed a tour of The Collector shop given by manager Sandy Youngdale at their monthly coffee on January 11. Following the tour, members had time to purchase fine jewelry, minerals and objects d’art, which are the specialties of The Collector.

Other mini tours included the Fallbrook Winery, the Gem & Mineral Society, the Art Campus of Fallbrook, the library and the Bottom Shelf, the Historical Society, the Shops at Jackson Square and several local thrift stores. After the various tours, Newcomer members convened at El Jardin restaurant, where they relaxed with a delightful lunch.

The Fallbrook Newcomers Club, a nonprofit organization founded in 1972, is devoted to promoting friendship among new residents in the community and providing interesting activities in which they can participate. New and nearly new members of Fallbrook, Bonsall and the surrounding countryside are invited to contact Pat Peterson at (760) 728-5668 for additional information.
