Woman's Club plans anniversary

The 100th Anniversary Committee of the Fallbrook Woman’s Club, chaired by Linda Gregg, met recently for their first meeting to firm up preliminary details for the club’s 100th anniversary. They set the date for November 13 and established invitation guidelines.

The Fallbrook Woman’s Club, established in 1907 as the Saturday Afternoon Club, became affiliated with the General Federation of Women’s Club International and California Federation of Women’s Club in 1910. During its long and colorful history the club has consistently served local Fallbrook organizations through philanthropic generosity and more recently established scholarships for deserving students.
