Bottom Shelf Bookstore will hold February sale

FALLBROOK- The Bottom Shelf Bookstore will be open “Presidents Day”, Monday, February 19, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and all merchandise will be half-price. There is an excellent selection of hard cover and paperback fiction, biographies and history, cooking and craft books, children’s books plus audio books, CDs, videos, vintage records, sheet music, and a select assortment of magazines.

The bookstore, located on the lower level of the Library at 124 S. Mission, is operated by Friends of the Fallbrook Library and all proceeds benefit the Library and its programs. The store is staffed by volunteers who work a minimum of three hours per month, either one morning or one afternoon shift. No previous experience is necessary and training is provided. Volunteers can schedule one or more regular shifts during the month or sign up to fill in as a substitute where needed. Anyone interested in becoming a volunteer can pick up an information form at the bookstore or call Roberta Kuse, 731-2172 or Jane McKee, 728-6373.

Donations of materials in good condition are always welcome but encyclopedias, collections of National Geographic magazine and Reader’s Digest condensed books are no longer accepted. The bookstore is open Monday-Saturday, 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. For information – 728-3835.
