Fallbrook Rotary honors "Citizen" and "Volunteer" of the Year

FALLBROOK- Fallbrook Rotarians recognized two recently honored members at their weekly Monday luncheon meeting held at the Grand Tradition. Roy Ansell has been named the Fallbrook Chamber of Commerce “Citizen of the Year”, and David Breeding received the Legacy Foundation “Volunteer of the Year” award. Both Ansell and Breeding are Past Presidents of the Rotary Club of Fallbrook.

Of the 28 past annual Fallbrook Chamber’s “Citizens of the Year” awards, six of them have been to past or present members of the Rotary Club of Fallbrook, and of the past six Legacy “Volunteers of the Year”, three of them have been awarded to current Rotary Club members. Current President Jack Wood also introduced and made the “Volunteer of the Year” award to David Breeding at the annual Fallbrook Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet, held at Pala Casino Resort Spa, at which both Ansell and Breeding received their awards.

Among their many community activities, Roy Ansell currently serves on the Board of the Fallbrook Music Society, and is Vice President of Legacy Endowment - The Community Foundation, and David Breeding is Treasurer of the Health Care Foundation, Rotary Club of Fallbrook Foundation, and the Live Oak Park Coalition.
