Gower says you are 'never too old'

Wil Gower, 88 years young, is a prime example of “busier is better.” Known as a community leader, Gower is an active member of the Chamber of Commerce, the Garden Club, the Oak Park Coalition, the Fallbrook United Methodist Church and many other community organizations. He is a World War II veteran, having served on the European Front, and has traveled extensively. Many people only recognize Gower when there’s a camera in front of his face. His photos and captions appear weekly in local newspapers. Last, but not least, Gower is a published author of several books. His latest, “Lessons: To Be Happy and Successful,” was released last December. He’s already working on another book!
