David Meyers, try leaving the bile out of your letters, stop pulling one-line talking points from right wing talk shows out of the air; try to defend the Bush administration with facts, if you can.

We should not go to war on distorted intelligence “cherry picked” to dupe Congress. Only a few diehards believe that Iraq had anything to do with 9/11 or that Bush has not violated federal laws. There is no good way of fixing the Bush Blunder.

Minimum wage increases are not damaging to the economy. Why would Issa vote against it in a state that already has a higher minimum wage? Simple. He marches in lock step with a corrupt Republican party.

Attacking Pelosi without giving her a chance to exercise oversight? One-party rule in the last 6 years has produced fraud, waste, and incompetence under a man who believes he is above the law. The mid east is in greater chaos than ever. No investigations into $9 Billion unaccounted for in Iraq. No jail for contractors who have billed the military for meals not served and gasoline not delivered The “uniter” has divided this country like no other leader. Outing CIA agents is not only illegal, it has hurt our ability to monitor Iran, the real threat to the U.S. Bush has racked up more debt than all previous presidents combined.

Very few people are criticizing the military. We condemn a leader who failed. “King George” fired a dozen military leaders who criticized his war plan coming from an administration of draft dodgers. Budget cuts for the returning veterans is criminal. Instead of spreading us thin in an illegal war, we should be building a stronger military to defend, and aggressively deter, real, not made up threats.
