Last updated 2/15/2007 at Noon
The San Diego Air and Space Museum is committed to inspiring young people to excel in math and the sciences. Since 1989 the museum has awarded over 140 scholarships to San Diego area high school graduating seniors embarking on engineering and aerospace careers. It proudly stands behind its mission by distributing yearly awards from three scholarship endowments, the Convair Alumni Association, Bill Gibbs and R.A. Rearwin programs.
Applications must be received by the museum no later than April 1 to be considered. For more information on eligibility factors and limitations and other available scholarships, please call the museum’s education department at (619) 234-8291, ext. 19. Or, visit http://www.sandiegoairandspace.org/education/scholarship.html to download applications.
