Bottom Shelf slashes prices for President's Day sale

The Bottom Shelf bookstore will hold a President’s Day sale Monday, February 19, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. All merchandise will be half-price. There will be an excellent selection of hardcover and paperback fiction, biographies and history, cooking and craft books and children’s books plus audio books, CDs, videos, sheet music and a select assortment of magazines.

The bookstore, located on the lower level of the library at 124 South Mission, is operated by Friends of the Fallbrook Library and all proceeds benefit the library and its programs. The store is staffed by volunteers who work a minimum of three hours per month, either one morning or one afternoon shift. Volunteers can schedule one or more regular shifts during the month or sign up to fill in as a substitute where needed. No previous experience is necessary and training is provided.
