Breeding receives Legacy Award

Jack Wood recently presented the Legacy Community Foundation Volunteer Award to David Breeding.

Legacy honored Breeding as its recipient for all the hours of service he gives to the Fallbrook community. He has been the past president of the Fallbrook Rotary Club and District Rotary Assistant Governor for two years. He is currently secretary to Rotary District 5340 and will become Chief of Staff to the District Governor in 2008/2009.

Breeding is also the current treasurer of the local Rotary Foundation, and he and wife Marilee have traveled to Southeast Africa, searching out humanitarian projects for Rotary to finance and support.

In addition, Breeding is the treasurer for both the Live Oak Park Coalition as well as the Fallbrook Healthcare Foundation. He is actively involved with his church and, with Marilee, serves as a marriage mentor for Emmanuel Faith Church, where the couple also teaches premarital classes.

Legacy believes David Breeding richly deserves this award, as his entire working career has always had to have an element of helping humanity.
