New Paul Harris Fellows announced

Eleven members of the Rotary Club of Fallbrook received special recognition as Multiple Paul Harris Fellows at a recent club meeting. A Paul Harris Fellow (PHF) is one who contributes $1,000 to the Rotary Foundation. For this, each receives a PHF ribboned medallion not unlike an Olympic medal. When Paul Harris Fellows give additional $1,000 they become Multiple Paul Harris Fellows, and as they give additional monies, they are awarded new gem-embedded pins.

The Rotary Foundation, founded in 1928 as part of Rotary International, sponsors humanitarian, educational and cultural programs throughout the world. The PHF program was named after Paul Harris, the founder of Rotary.

Though unable to attend the recent ceremony, Bob Dunn will receive a three-ruby lapel pin for his eighth Multiple Paul Harris Fellow contribution to Rotary.
