Bad case of the Mondays?

I think every sane reader has a bad case of Jon Monday when he writes into the Village News. Let me bring you to the light and show you how egregious Jon Monday is.

Jon Monday says, “I assert that there is no such proof, and in fact, there has been overwhelming proof that there were no WMDs in Iraq at the time of the invasion and there were no WMD programs underway.” A declassified National Ground Intelligence Center document says, “Since 2003, coalition forces have recovered approximately 500 weapons munitions which contain degraded mustard or sarin nerve agent.” Hate to break it to you, but that’s a WMD.

This document also states that the Defense Department was egregious when they said, “We had all known weapons facilities secured.” These WMDs prove Saddam Hussein was lying when he said all weapons had been destroyed, and it shows that years of on-again, off-again weapons inspections did not uncover these munitions. The report does suggest that some of the weapons were likely put on the black market and may have been used outside Iraq. The NGIC also said, “ISG left off when it completed its report in November 2004, and in the process of collecting intelligence for the purpose of force protection for soldiers and sailors still on the ground in Iraq has shown that the weapons inspectors were incomplete.”

Massive truck convoys leaving Iraq to Syria and Iran are well documented. What was in those convoys who knows, but you can make an educated guess. I doubt he would be shipping refrigerators across the border before an attack. One year later Iran and North Korea make their quantum leap forward and develop nuclear technology. Is this a coincidence or not? I don’t think so. Also, Jordan broke up an attempted chemical attack on their capital by Al Qaeda about a year after the invasion; where did they get it from?

It’s not Jon Monday’s fault he thinks like he does. He’s obviously just glued to leftist propaganda from CNN, BBC and the NY Times.
