Re: 'Citrus Plant eye-sore gets new life'

Is this concept rendering of the finished plaza a finalized representation of the building façade? If so, then frankly, it doesn’t have very much personality. In fact, it’s terribly bland. Shouldn’t a project as important as this have more of a historically relevant overall character? In other words, it should borrow from the architectural precedents of Old Main Street and the rural turn of the century feeling Fallbrook is known for. The current concept just looks like another thrown-together mini-mall one would expect to see in watered-down Orange County.

Also, why is Citrus Plaza just going to have offices and storage spaces? How is that going to attract visitors and bring life to Fallbrook? Why not a few little restaurants, shops or cafés?
