Marjorie Ann Kelly

Marjorie Ann Kelly of Bonsall passed away peacefully Sunday, February 18, 2007, of natural causes. She was born February 29, 1924, in Tama County, IA, and was very proud of being a “leap year baby.” She moved to Bonsall with her husband Raymond in 1975 enticed by the scent of orange blossoms.

For 25 years, Marje loved working as a realtor, where she met and kept many of her dearest friends. She was also a proud member of the Bonsall Woman’s Club since 1981. Here, too, she endeared lifelong friendships. She loved her grandchildren, the ocean, music and flowers. Marje and Ray were also known to donate a nickel or two to support our Native American brothers, usually at Pala.

She is survived by sons and daughter-in-law Thomas J. Kelly, Cheyenne, WY, and Ronald R. and Claire County Kelly, Poway, CA; daughter and son-in-law Theresa K. and Robin A. French, Fallbrook, CA; and grandchildren Sean Kelly, Margo Kelly, Christine Kelly, Gerald French and Matthew French.

Marje was full of life and will always be remembered for her smile that could brighten any day. Donations may be made to Fallbrook Hospital Hospice (in memory of Marje Kelly) or a favorite children’s charity.
