More publications now available at library

Due to the generosity of the Friends of the Fallbrook Library, the library has been able to purchase a subscription to the Sunday New York Times, which is often requested by customers and is not otherwise locally available.

The library has also purchased a subscription to the print edition of Value Line, also in high demand by members of investment clubs and other local residents. The online edition of Value Line was cancelled by the county library due to budget considerations.

Another new service now available to all county library customers is that they are now able to request books themselves online at home from four local universities using their county library cards. The participating universities are UCSD, SDSU, Cal State San Marcos and USD. The books are delivered within a week to their local branch library and may be returned to the local branch. To use this service, go to the county library Web site, look up the book, and if it is not available in the county system, click on “San Diego Circuit,” which will search all four university library catalogs to locate the book.
