Amateur Radio Club to meet

The Fallbrook Amateur Radio Club will meet on March 3 at 3 p.m. at Roy Noon Hall, 231 East Hawthorne Street. The meeting program will be “HF, VHF, UHF, Band Plans” presented by Ken Dickson, W6MF, and Ron Patten, KG6HSQ.

Band plans are driven by FCC regulations, national and local coordination and gentlemen’s agreements with the goal of helping to reduce interference. With recent changes in high frequency band plans, it’s time for an update. Come to the meeting to find out the proper frequencies and frequency ranges that should be used. Visitors welcome.
