Rose-Calas engaged

Darcy Rose and James Calas, Jr. have announced their engagement.

The future bride is the daughter of Jeff and Gay Rose of Bonsall. She is a 2002 graduate of Fallbrook High School and received her Bachelor’s degree in communicative disorders and deaf studies with an emphasis in interpreting from Fresno State in 2006. Darcy is employed by Fallbrook High School as a sign language interpreter.

The future groom is the son of Jim and Susan Calas of Aliso Viejo and Rae Relatores and Russ Way of Oceanside. He is a 1998 graduate of Calvary Chapel High School of Costa Mesa and a 2003 graduate of Cal State San Marcos. Jimmy, a manufacturing engineer, currently works in the Unmanned Systems Division of Northrop Grumman Corporation in Rancho Bernardo.

The wedding is set for June 16 at Lake San Marcos Resort & Country Club. The couple will live in Oceanside with Brewski, their English bulldog.
