Tails and Trails event coming March 10

FALLBROOK — The Fallbrook Land Conservancy will join Critter Crossings All-Breed Dog Rescue to host the Third Annual Tails and Trails Dog Walk Saturday, March 10, at 10 a.m. at Los Jilgueros Preserve in Fallbrook. Proceeds will benefit both nonprofit organizations.

Los Jilgueros Preserve, located just south of Fallbrook on Mission Road, is a popular place for hikers, naturalists and dog-lovers alike. During the Saturday morning Dog Walk, scores of anticipated walkers and their leashed companions will enjoy a one-mile trek on one of the many trails that wind past wetlands, ponds and the native flora and fauna that make Los Jilgueros Fallbrook’s most popular preserve. The event will include opportunity drawings, prizes, Southwest Search and Rescue Working Dogs and much more. For more information about the event, call (760) 728-0889.
