Cub Scouts learn about American flag

FALLBROOK — Lee Watson, Post Adjutant of the Fallbrook Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Charles E. Swisher Post 1924, recently taught the Webelos of St. Peter’s Cub Scout Pack 738 all about the United States flag. Watson is retired from the United States Marines Corps and was also a Lake Elsinore High School teacher for over 20 years. With his guidance, the Webelos learned all about the history of the US flag and the military branch flags.

Watson also covered how to correctly fold, display and when and how to raise and lower on a flag pole the United States flag. As a special treat, the VFW generously treated the boys to a delicious complimentary hamburger dinner!
