Legacy welcomes Estes as newest board member

FALLBROOK — Legacy Endowment… The Community Foundation recently named local resident Karen Estes to its board of directors. Estes moved to Fallbrook in 1970, attended Bonsall Elementary School and graduated from Fallbrook High School. She earned her AA Degree in general education from Palomar College and went on to graduate from the University of California, Irvine with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in psychology.

Returning to her roots, Estes went to work for J. Neal Estes Insurance and Real Estate in Fallbrook, buying the insurance business from her father in 1987. She is currently working for Teague Insurance Agency in Fallbrook as an independent contractor writing business with various insurance companies. She is a Certified Insurance Counselor and has hundreds of hours of seminars and courses behind her.

Estes is involved in a number of community services, including a current member and past director of the Fallbrook Chamber of Commerce, member of the Bonsall Chamber of Commerce, charter member and past president of the Rotary Club of Bonsall and past president of the American Association of University Women in Fallbrook.

Legacy is delighted to have Estes as a valued addition to the board of local professionals. Their goal is to make their clients’ dreams of philanthropy come true.
