It appears to me that lies and stupidity have replaced baseball as our national pastime. We as Americans are collectively spoon fed enough half-truths on a daily basis to fill the stadium that we won’t build for the Chargers. Twelve to 50 times a day I am guilt-tripped by the California State Government into the proposition that all children need healthcare and as a single man with no children I should pay for it.

Frankly, I have had a stroke and have a heart condition and for the life of me I can’t get health insurance that I would be willing to pay for. Until the state does something...
