Getz awarded Congressional Medal of Distinction

WASHINGTON, DC — NRCC Chairman Tom Reynolds and the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) recently announced that George F. Getz of Fallbrook has been chosen as a 2006 Congressional Medal of Distinction winner.

Getz was selected based on unyielding support of the Republican Party, outstanding leadership in business and contributions to the local economy. Only an elite group of business and professional people were nominated to receive the award before the selection committee reached a final decision.

Commenting on Getz’s selection, Congressman Reynolds said, “Mr. Getz served as an honorary chairman of the Business Advisory Council and has provided much needed support. This award could not have gone to a more deserving candidate.”
