Garden Club announces April flower show

The Fallbrook Garden Club will present its 76th annual standard flower show, “A Rainbow of Color,” April 28-29 at the Fallbrook Community Center. The show will be open to the public Saturday from 2 to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free. The competition is open to any amateur gardener or designer. Exhibitors need not be members of a garden club to enter.

In the horticulture division, any cut specimen, container plant, fruit, nut or vegetable is eligible for entry as long as it is fresh (no dried materials), clean and pest-free and was grown by exhibitor. Containe...
