Anti-terrorism speaker slated for March 14

FALLBROOK — Fallbrook’s Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) will have American Red Cross Greater LA Chapter Grant Administrator Brandy Welch speaking on humanitarianism and emergency response aid – during a weapons of mass destruction or terrorism attack – at their March 14 general meeting.

San Diego County officials anticipated attending will be Caroline Smith, Supervisor Bill Horn’s Health and Human Services and Public Safety Policy Advisor; Board Director Dick Olson of the North County Fire Protection District; and Office of Emergency Services Director Ron Lowe.

The meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 14, at the Fallbrook Public Utility Building, 990 East Mission Road. La Caseta Restaurant is graciously providing the entrée for the evening.
