Bresnahan, Lancaster named Volunteers of Year

The Bonsall Woman’s Club announced March 1 that Judy Bresnahan and Sheila Lancaster have been selected Volunteers of the Year for the organization. The announcement was made at the club’s monthly luncheon at the Golf Club of California.

Bresnahan, a charter member of the club, volunteered over 348 hours to the organization over the past year. She devoted time to the Magic of Christmas fundraising events for charity, the Bonsall Girl of the Year Tea, the club’s annual fashion show, the Christmas season food drive and the Women’s Resource Center project. Credited with performing every task to its highest potential, Bresnahan was heralded for being a master at collecting money for scholarships.

Lancaster was selected Volunteer of the Year based on her support of many projects and events the club has been involved in over the past year. She has carefully recognized sponsors of various projects in order to show them how valued they are. She was also instrumental in coordinating live auction items for fundraising events and assisting with the Girl of the Year Tea and the Christmas food and toy drive.
