Entries being accepted for Battle of the Bands

Current entries for the First Annual Battle of the Bands include Dead Sled Demons from Temecula and The Crash Kids from Vista. The music spectacular is open to all bands playing all types of music. Band members must be between the ages of 13 and 19. Bands will perform on April 21 and battle it out for a $200 first place cash award, trophies, prizes and bragging rights!

To enter the Battle of the Bands, a completed application, band photo and CD or tape with at least three tunes must be submitted to the Fallbrook Community Center office by 5:30 p.m. on March 23. Top bands will be invited to perform in front of an audience and be rated by a panel of judges on April 21.

The First Annual Battle of the Bands is sponsored by Friends of Fallbrook Community Center and County of San Diego Parks and Recreation.
