Reeder installed as Methodist women president

On January 28, Lucile Reeder was installed as president of the women’s philanthropic organization at Fallbrook United Methodist Church. The group’s mission is to raise money to support both local and global missions. Both Lucile and her late husband, Howard, were teachers until 1980, when Howard became a Methodist minister, which involved Lucile in women’s group activities. Lucile and Howard moved to Fallbrook in 1997 to be near family. When she first saw Fallbrook on a visit to her son, Lucile said, “This is the place.”
