Iowa Street Home School enrolling for 2007-2008

FALLBROOK — The Iowa Street School Home Education Program, where “The World is Our Classroom,” is now accepting registration for the 2007-2008 school year.

Iowa Street School, part of the Fallbrook Union Elementary School District, is a place where families with children grades K-8 can explore an alternative educational experience. Families enrolled in the school are assigned a highly experienced teacher who meets with them regularly to evaluate academic work and set goals for individual students.

Some enrichment workshops have included “Adventures with the Vikings,” “Mozart’s Magical, Musical Life,” “The World of Chris Van Allsburg,” “Rockology” and “Most Extreme.” Also offered are foreign language and physical education workshops, as well as a very extensive visual and performing arts program.
