Piano competition announced for youth

The Seventh Annual Temecula Piano Competition sponsored by the Arts Council of Temecula Valley will be held on Saturday, May 26, at the Old Town Temecula Theater. Contestants will perform on the theater’s beautiful Steinway Concert Grand piano. The competition is open to classical pianists in grades five through twelve.

Cash awards for first ($100), second ($75) and third place ($50) will be awarded in the following divisions: fifth and sixth grade, seventh and eighth grade, ninth and 10th grade and 11th and 12th grade.
