Ponte Winery offering spring Winemaker's Dinner

TEMECULA — On Friday, March 30, at 7 p.m. Ponte Family Estate welcomes warmer weather at their annual spring Winemaker’s Dinner. Owner Claudio Ponte and winemaker Robert Cartwright invite the public to this annual event featuring a deliciously prepared five-course dinner created by Executive Chef Steve Stawinski.

Served beside the budding vines, in the estate’s intimate Barrel Room, this extravagant meal celebrates the vineyard’s new spring releases. Beginning with Ponte’s 2005 Riesling served with Lobster Napoleon with New Potato, guests will be pampered with delicious taste selections including Asparagus Risotto paired with 2005 Pinot Grigio and Rock Cornish Game Hen with Ponte’s 2005 Dolcetto and much more. Of course, diners will want to leave room for the Poached Apricot-Mascarpone Profiteroles served with Ponte 2005 Sherry for dessert.
