Candlelight vigil for peace

Pastor Phil Tukua of Christ The King Church was one of the speakers at the Candlelight Vigil for Peace held Sunday evening at the Village Square. The vigil, organized by independent members of the Democratic Club and members of Veterans for Peace to mark the beginning of the fifth year of the war in Iraq, was a respectful ceremony to honor the war dead and acknowledge the price paid by the thousands of war wounded troops and their families.
