Artists sought for Celebrate Vista

VISTA — The City of Vista Public Arts Commission is looking for artists to participate in a new community beautification project entitled “Celebrate Vista.” The Celebrate Vista project will bring street art banners to the city, all designed by artists to depict the beauty of Vista. Twenty-nine banners will be hung 15 feet high from light poles around downtown Vista during June and July. All artists are encouraged to submit proposals for banner designs to the Vista Public Arts Commission by April 2.

Interested artists must submit color proposals (with a limit of three proposals per artist) to the Vista Public Arts Commission, 600 Eucalyptus Avenue, Vista, CA 92084. Project applications and additional information may be obtained on the City of Vista Web site at http://www.cityofvista.com. For questions about this project, please contact Bill Fortmueller by phone at (760) 726-1340, ext. 1148, or via e-mail at [email protected].
