Kind service at McDonald's

Dear Teri George,

I would like to call your attention to one of your employees, Matti (I didn’t get her last name). On Tuesday, March 20, I placed an order at the drive-thru and when I arrived at the window, much to my embarrassment, I had forgotten my wallet. I did have some money, but I was about a $1 short. Matti said, “No problem, I got it,” and proceeded to pull a dollar from her own pocket, thus covering my bill.

I know this is just a small act of kindness, but to me it was big. To give without any expectation to get back is the attitude we should all strive to achieve. This young girl demonstrates that it doesn’t take a lot to be kind and giving.

As in all organizations, attitudes come down from the top, so keep up the good work and continue to keep the spirit of kindness and giving alive in Fallbrook!
