Kalman photos on exhibit

Two fine art photographs by Bonsall resident Jerry Kalman were juried into the La Jolla Art Association’s 28th All San Diego County Show.

According to Caroline Morse, exhibit director, “Kalman’s two photographs plus more than 100 other entries were judged by Reed Cardwell, a noted San Diego artist and art instructor, and a small select number accepted for the exhibit.

“The Village Gallery carries on a tradition of excellence by San Diego artists since 1918 and is open to the public from 11 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily. Admission to the reception and the exhibit for the run of the show is free.” The gallery is located at 7932 Ivanhoe Avenue, La Jolla.

Kalman, a Fallbrook/Bonsall resident since 1999, has explored the world of digital photography for 10 years. Two of his recent digital photographs, “Salton Snags,” taken at the Salton Sea, and “Sierra Reflections,” taken at Mono Lake, are on exhibit through April 15.
