New battery recycling program available at FPUD

FALLBROOK — Keep Fallbrook Clean and Green (KFCG) inaugurated its new community program for recycling household dry cell batteries on March 26 at the Fallbrook Public Utility District (FPUD) parking lot. Representatives from the three sponsoring groups – KFCG, FPUD and the Angel Society – gathered to initiate the program with a formal “ribbon-cutting” ceremony, followed by a reception.
