Warriors defeat Poway in seventh-inning comeback - Later bow to Torrey Pines

Reminiscent of previous versions of Fallbrook Warrior Baseball squads, the 2007 edition provided a dramatic late-inning comeback at Duke Snider Field to prevail 6-4 over Poway. Trailing the entire game, these Warriors scored six runs in the bottom of the seventh inning, five with two out on a two-RBI double by Shawn Sanford and a climactic three-run, walk-off homerun by Clark Murphy. Sam Murphy was the winning pitcher, relieving in the top of the seventh for Tyler Wedeking and starting pitcher Sanford.

After a dramatic win over Poway the day prior, the Fallbrook Warriors could muster but one run in an 8-1 loss to the senior-dominated Torrey Pines Falcons. At 4-4 overall, the Warriors are looking to improve on their record and continue the tradition of excellence under Head Coach Matt Parker.
