Jack Cohen

Jack Cohen of Encino, CA, died April 1, 2007. He was born in Cleveland, OH, on September 24, 1925. Jack joined the Navy and served in WWII. He attended Kent State University. He had a long career in sales and was a member of the Delicatessen Council of Southern California.

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Peggy Cohen; their daughter and her husband Cheryl and Dimitrious Gourgouris of Santa Monica; their son and his wife Steve and Debbie Cohen of Fallbrook; their granddaughter Natalie and her husband Joshua Benedict of Temecula; their two great-grandchildren Sam and Mallory; and their two grandsons Steven and Jack Cohen of Fallbrook. Private family memorial services are planned.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Jack Cohen Memorial Fund established in his memory at the Richstone Family Center. The fund will support counseling and services for abused and underprivileged children. Donations are payable to Richstone Family Center, 13620 Cordary Avenue, Hawthorne, CA 90250.
