Jerald Gustavus Hindorff,

Jerald Gustavus Hindorff, 93, passed away April 8, 2007, at Manor Care, Hemet, CA. Born November 28, 1913, in Fallbrook, CA, he was a current resident of Sun City.

Mr. Hindorff was an auto mechanic who owned an auto repair business in Fallbrook for 34 years. He was a graduate of Old Fallbrook (Reche) Grammar School and Fallbrook High School; served in the US Army during WWII; enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman, particularly deer hunting.

Mr. Hindorff was preceded in death by wives Catherine Friesen Hindorff, Ethel Thomas Hindorff and Joyce East Hindorff; brother Richard Hindorff; and sister Velma Sierras. He is survived by stepsons Darwin East, CA, and Gary East, AZ; sisters Margaret Ray, Fallbrook, Annie Frances Driggs, OK, and Laura Hindorff, Fallbrook; and numerous step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

There will be a viewing Saturday, April 14, 2007, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with the funeral service following at 1:00 p.m., both at Berry-Bell & Hall Fallbrook Mortuary. Inurnment, following the service, will be at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Fallbrook.
