FYSL anticipates busy months ahead

Early bird discount registration for the Fallbrook Youth Soccer League (FYSL) recreational season starts on April 21 and runs through May 5; standard price begins after May 5 and registration ends on June 2. Teams will be formed by July 1 and the season starts for U12 and U14 players on August 11. All the rest start on September 8.

Calling all coaches! FYSL is holding two coaches classes starting with a Youth Mod 3 level coaching class on June 23. This is an excellent class for anyone who likes to work with youth and wants to be able to coach a team. This class will prepare anyone for the up coming recreational season. Even if you have already taken the class before, it is a great way to brush up on your coaching skills and maybe learn a few more techniques.

The E level coaching class is being offered July 13-14; this is an excellent class that will help you develop the skills to coach at the competitive level. Even if you really are not looking to coach a competitive team, this class will help you develop the skills needed for your players who are looking to move up to the completive club teams like Fury.

Fury tryouts have gone well, with lots of new players being added to our teams. Players, there is still time to be evaluated for the upcoming Fury season. Every player will have to be evaluated prior to start of play, so the sooner you have this done the sooner you will be able to get assigned to a team.
