Darrell J. Dederich, 65, passed away April 9, 2007, after a bicycle accident in Fallbrook, CA. Born January 11, 1942, in Richland Center, Sauk County, WI, he was a nine-year resident of Fallbrook.

Mr. Dederich graduated from Madison Vocational Technical School in 1962 and then Western College with a BS in electrical engineering in 1972. He was an engineer in the semi-conductor/telecommunications industry for 44 years, retiring in 2006 from MindSpeed Technologies. He was planning his well-deserved retirement and time to travel with his wife Nancy via their motorcycle.

Mr. Dederich moved to Fallbrook in 1998 and was very involved with his hobbies: bicycling, motorcycle riding and growing avocados. He was an active member of North Coast Church, where he spent his favorite time of the week as a Sunday school teacher for preschoolers. Mr. Darrell will be sorely missed.

Mr. Dederich was preceded in death by sister-in-law Nancy Dederich and brother-in-law Norman Stoltz. He is survived by his wife Nancy Dederich, Fallbrook; stepdaughters and stepson-in-law Ragan and Shaun Erickson, Fallbrook, and Jenny Dean, Fallbrook; daughter and son-in-law Deanna and Ravi Kosaraju, Albany, CA; brothers and sisters-in-law Leon Dederich, Kenosha, WI, and Neal and Mary Lou Dederich, Phoenix, AZ; sisters and brothers-in-law Connie Stoltz, Richland Center, WI, and Leone and Don Nachreiner, Middleton, WI; and grandchildren Richard Falcon, Nicholas Falcon, Maya Kosaraju and Ella Erickson.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 21, at noon at North Coast Church in Vista.
