Avo Fest music sure to hit a high note

FALLBROOK — As attendees wander through Fallbrook enjoying the sights and activities of the annual Avocado Festival on Sunday, April 22, they will also be treated to some very special musical entertainment. Two live bands, both based in North County, will perform throughout the day at sites with ample opportunities to eat, sit, relax a moment and enjoy the “Sounds of Fallbrook.”

Classic rock and roll and blues band Blue Zone will be participating in their 11th consecutive Avocado Festival. They will be playing at Scrappy’s Tire & Auto on the corner of Main and College.

In addition, the Avocado Moon Band, another longtime favorite at North County events, will be sharing their “eclectic” blues/rock/jazz-infused sound. They will be featured in the refreshment area at Main and Hawthorne.

Both bands will be performing between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.
